The New York Post reports that environmental activist Kerry Kennedy was hired by a law firm that is suing Chevron to act as a “public-relations consultant,” paying her to lobby officials and speak in the media to augment their case.  Kennedy was paid a flat fee by the firm in addition to a stake in any settlement, which could total $40 million if a controversial $18 billion is upheld.
