2007 Summit

 The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Legal Reform’s 2007 Summit covered a variety of topics including:

  • Policies and practices of state attorneys general
  • The latest trends in business litigation
  • The growth of U.S. style class actions in Europe
  • Business versus the plaintiffs' bar: Trial lawyer strategies and political implications
  • Liability issues in the U.S. Supreme Court

The Legal Reform Summit also featured a keynote address entitled “The Future Competitiveness of the U.S. Securities Markets” by  U.S. Securities & Exchange Commissioner Kathleen L. Casey.
