UM endowment to invest in Y Combinator, litigation fund: The University of Michigan Board of Regents will consider a $33.7 million investment in a British litigation fund. If approved, it would become the school’s third litigation fund investment this year. (Crain’s Detroit Business)

Profs Fight For Clarity On Class Cert. In Securities Suits: Two law professors asked the U.S. Supreme Court to provide clarity on class certification standards for securities class actions. The professors said the Second Circuit lowered the bar for certification when it certified a class action against Petrobras. (Law360)
