Continues to Face Criticism Over Hiring of Political Donors as Outside Counsel: Despite mounting criticism over his hiring of political donors to serve as outside counsel to represent the state of Louisiana in lawsuits against oil and gas companies, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards is “doubling down” on the lawsuits.
