The U.S. Senate has confirmed Bill Barr to be the next U.S. Attorney General by a 54-45 vote yesterday, the National Law Journal reports.

Three Democrats joined 51 Republicans to support Barr’s nomination, who was also sworn in yesterday. Barr previously served as Attorney General in the George H.W. Bush administration from November 26, 1991 to January 20, 1993. The article notes that he is expected to bring in a new team to the U.S. Department of Justice.
