September 15, 2017

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said there “may be some change” on the Department of Justice’s corporate prosecution policy, according to POLITICO.

The current DOJ policy was written by former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates in the fall of 2015. Now known as the “Yates memo,” the policy emphasizes prosecuting and punishing individuals. Rosenstein did not indicate what portions of this policy will change.

As the article states, Attorney General Jeff Sessions also indicated he would support a policy change at an event earlier this year.
