Congress Urged to Adopt National Data Breach Standard: The president of the Electronic Privacy Information Center and adjunct Georgetown University Law Center professor said Congress should enact a national standard for businesses to follow after a data breach. He said the standard should require breach notification “that’s almost immediate, but practicable.” (Business Insurance)
