House Passes Bill to Curb ADA Lawsuit Abuse: The House of Representatives passed a bill to stop abusive Americans with Disabilities Act lawsuits. The new bill would give businesses four months to comply with the law before they are sued. (Law360) 

West Virginia Senate Passes Intermediate Court Bill: The West Virginia Senate passed a bill that would create new court of appeals. ILR said the lack of such a court gives “short shrift to important cases” and leaves “the state without a complete body of written law.” The bill now heads to the House. (WV News)
