SCOTUS Won't Review CareFirst Data Breach Standing Row: The U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear CareFirst’s appeal of a D.C. Circuit ruling that allowed a class action lawsuit over the company’s 2014 data breach to continue. U.S. Attorney Won't Confirm, Deny Probe into West Va. Supreme Court: A U.S. attorney did not “confirm nor deny the existence of an investigation” after Chief Justice Allen Loughry hinted at an investigation in a statement released last week. Loughry has been voted out of his position after the state Senate passed a resolution calling for an investigation of “potential impeachable offenses” regarding the misuse of taxpayer funds.
