$8.5 Million Settlement in Google Class Action to be Contested: The Center for Class Action Fairness announced it would oppose a proposed $8.5 million class action settlement involving Google. The settlement includes $6 million in cy pres awards and $2.1 million in attorneys’ fees. Class members were not awarded any part of that settlement. (Legal Newsline)
