Florida Legal Expert Says Insurance Rates Will Drop Now That AOB Law Is In Effect: William Large, the president of the Florida Justice Reform Institute, said a law recently signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to rein in assignment of benefits abuse “will have a positive impact on Florida’s consumers” and “will lead to decreased insurance premiums in the future.” The law took effect on July 1.
