7th Circ. Cuts Attorneys’ Fees in TCPA Case: A three judge panel last Friday cut an attorneys’ fee award by about two-thirds in a Telephone Consumer Protection Act lawsuit from $233,333.33 to $73,000. The court said there “was no real litigation in this case” and the original request was “disproportionate to the amount of work expended by class counsel.” (Law360)
