The Associated Press this weekend spotlighted the “increasingly aggressive” tactics of state governments to track down unclaimed property. Stuart Bishop pens a letter spotlighting his state’s poor ranking in ILR’s 2015 Lawsuit Climate Survey. “Calls for lawsuit reform are coming from a wide spectrum of citizens from all walks of life who recognize that our state’s dysfunctional court system costs jobs, hinders economic growth and overwhelmingly benefits a small group of trial lawyers at the expense of everyone else.” (The Advocate)
